Meaning

Something I learned today: "wiki" is Hawaiian for "quick."

You're always learning cool things.

I must be spending my online hours in all the wrong places.

Actually, I learned this yesterday from an ACTUAL PERSON! (Although he maybe learned it from the internets.)

I was at a Digital Collaboration workshop yesterday morning, led by a fellow from Apple. Mostly we learned about Apple software that could help us collaborate. But at the very end we learned about wikis. As far as I can tell, Apple has no wiki software. So we learned this little definitional tidbit. Not much else. But that's ok, because I already know about wikis. But I had never heard that one before.
